Sales Manager, Channel –Security- KL, Malaysia

Our client is an IT Multinational company, providing the security software and systems solutions to the customers in the various industry They are looking for a Channel Sales Manager to be based at KL, Malaysia.


  • For the Channel Sales Manager- the incumbent will be reporting to the Regional Manager, responsible for managing all Channel Sales aspects of company’s business in Malaysia.
  • To perform Channel sales development, managing existing and the growth of new prospective Distribution, Channel, System Integration and Consultants that will allow better market and vertical sales/support coverage.
  • To help to train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that will lead to successful Proof of Concept evaluation. Validation that the company’s partners are meeting the training, certification and support requirements to stay competitive with quality of service to the end-users.
  • To facilitate product and sales training to partners field sales or System Engineer staff.
  • To drive product marketing, and demand generation activities with partners to accompany the company’s products or solutions on partner’s website, seminars and tradeshows.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel business plan for the region.


  • A degree holder in the Sales and Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, with min 6 years in software solution sales including both transactional sales and strategic selling experience.
  • Preference will be given to those have security software selling experience Demonstrated Channel Sales or Government Account Sales experience. Solutions-selling experience in any one or all of the following areas: hardware, software, or other security solutions.
  • Some knowledge in the advanced security solutions networking technologies will be preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong leadership, influencing and relationship development skills with contacts at C levels Ability to provide accurate forecasting to Reporting Manager regularly (SalesForce)
  • Remuneration: RM 170K- 280K per year.
