VP/CTO, Asia Pacific – Singapore or Australia
Our client is an IT Multinational company. They are looking for a VP Or CTO to be based in their Singapore or Australia office.
Responsibilities
Specific duties include leading the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships as well as building and managing the technology team, will oversee research and development as well as special projects.
Establishing technical standards and ensuring adherence to the company’s vision, will supervise software testing, and information systems security and maintenance. He/ she will lead the organizations in anticipating and reacting to major technology changes. May be required to develop technology contingency plans to keep projects on track.
Will be key in generating new products and facilitating their entry to market. You will collaborate with the executive team and sales to assess and recommend technologies in support of company needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science or a related field and/ or the equivalent in education and work experience.
Assisting the sales team in advancing sales opportunities by bringing their network and the credibility/gravitas afforded to the VP/CTO station
Evangelizing the company’s technology/products in their theater. This will include public speaking engagements, sitting on standards forums, etc.
Be the conduit to corporate to communicate customer evolution, requirements, evolving competitive landscape.
